Allmax Isoflex Review
Allmax recently revamped and released an updated version of Isoflex with a new look and improved taste and formula. If you loved Allmax Isoflex before, you’re sure to love it, even more, this time around.
At Supplement Superstore, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on the new and improved Isoflex and let our loyal customers know what we thought. Since we tasted it anyway, we decided to give the new Isoflex a trial run and review. Here are our thoughts and results.
Initial Thoughts on Allmax Isoflex
Allmax is a Canadian owned and operated business, and Isoflex is one of the best-selling and longest-running whey protein products on the market. The longevity of Allmax and the Isoflex whey protein formula builds on our trust in the brand and the product.
Visual Presentation Review
The new Allmax products now have a smooth, crisp black and bright red look, and the new container features scoop-lock technology. You won’t be digging for your scoop after traveling with your Isoflex container - it’s locked in place at the top for easy access as soon as you pop the top.
Scoop-lock technology is available in other Allmax products as well. Find it in the new Allmax products featuring the new lid:
- Isoflex Whey Protein Isolate
- AllWhey Gold Whey Protein
- AllWhey Classic Whey Protein
- HexaPro Sustained Release 6 Protein Blend
Taste and Texture Review
Isoflex mixes thoroughly, with ease, in a shaker bottle. We expected nothing less, as whey protein isolates are generally a thinner consistency, and mix nicely. The taste of the new formula is phenomenal. Allmax has perfected the taste of protein powders for twenty years, and it’s available in tons of flavours, including:
- Orange Dreamsicle
- Cookies and Cream
- Chocolate Mint
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
- Cinnamon French Toast
- Birthday Cake
- Caramel Macchiato
- Pineapple Coconut
Pros to Consider
Isoflex is a massive 27 grams of protein per serving, more than most protein powders, from 100% whey protein isolate. The formula is super-fast-absorbing, which is great for a post-workout shake, and there are so many flavours to choose from, you’re guaranteed to find one you like.
The formula is gluten and soy-free and contains no added sugar. Allmax products are all lab-tested, certified, and guaranteed.
Isoflex uses cutting edge technology to extract, purify, and isolate protein while retaining enhanced bioactive whey fractions. This formula is also low in lactose, so you may be able to enjoy Isoflex, even if you’re sensitive to dairy products.
Cons to Consider
They use artificial ingredients to flavour this formula, which is a concern to some people. If you’re concerned with this factor, check out IsoNatural as it is naturally sweetened.
Final Thoughts on Isoflex
If you’re looking for lean protein, Isoflex is an excellent option. It’s available in two-pound containers, about 30 scoops, and a five-pound serving for about 75 scoops.
If you already know and love Isoflex and want to try something different, check out Isoflex Chiller. Chiller is the Isoflex formula you know and love, with a refreshing, juice-like flavour and texture.
The new Isoflex gets a 4.5 out of 5 from Supplement Superstore. The half-point deduction is only for artificial flavouring. Again, check out IsoNatural if you’re concerned. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed. Check out our other product reviews to help you make the best decisions when you’re on the hunt for supplements.
