For several reasons, ANS Performance is one of my favourite brands. I have personally always been impressed by their constant innovation in bringing new ingredients to the market along with well dosed and complete formulas. Naturally, I was very excited when I heard they were releasing Prophecy, their new ultimate pre-workout with clinical doses of all ingredients, to their product lineup. I was interested in where this would fit in alongside their other pre-workout products, Dilate, Ritual and Rave.
The release was every bit exciting as I had predicted. ANS Prophecy has made a huge impact on the pre-workout product market and is now one of our best-selling pre-workout supplements at Supplement Superstore.
ANS Performance, a.k.a. The Brand In Blue, has as usual delivered with a really nice package and overall experience. One thing I was impressed by was that the container was full, a rarity in the market today.
Being a pre-workout supplement, the mixability is great. The powder is very fine which makes for very easy mixing and no grittiness. A couple of shakes in your shaker and you're ready for one of the best pre-workout experiences.
The taste is pronounced and memorable. With the number and amount of ingredients needed to flavour, ANS has done a great job. Their initial flavour releases were Peach Mango and Lemon Drop with Sour Gummy and Blue Bombsicle following later.
The Lemon Drop flavour was the perfect sweet and tart lemon experience, and went down smoothly right before a hard workout. The Peach Mango was a more traditional tropical flavour, but still very good. The release of the Sour Gummy stacked nicely with ANS Quench BCAA Sour Gummy Blast, and has a tasty sour candy flavour. The release of the ANS Prophecy Blue Bombsicle, this time in conjunction with the same flavour in the Quench BCAA, this was a great cross between a blue raspberry and rocket pop flavour.
With each flavour offering something a little different, I certainly haven't has a bad experience with any of the ANS Prophecy pre-workout flavours.
With complete and clinical doses of all key ingredients, including Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, Betaine, Taurine and Agmatine, ANS Prophecy doesn't disappoint as one of the most complete and best pre-workout experiences on the market. The Citrulline and Agmatine offer a great pump through stimulating Nitric Oxide production.
For focus, the MagicLion Lions Mane extract (which ANS Performance was the first to introduce to the supplement market in their Rave pre-workout), along with great doses of L-Tyrosine and Choline Bitartrate keep you concentrated on the gym well past your warm down and cardio.
In addition, ANS Prophecy packs a solid dose of Taurine, a conditionally essential amino acid, to help with maintaining enhanced cognition, as well as improving aerobic and anaerobic performance. This helps increase muscle strength, enhance power, reduce muscle damage caused by exercise, and accelerate recovery between workouts.
Also included are Coconut Water Powder for hydration and Betaine Anhydrous to stimulate the production of creatine in muscle cells. As a supplement, betaine can assist with power output and training volume.
As I would expect, ANS Performance has done a fantastic job with their Prophecy pre-workout supplement. It's got everything you would look for in a pre-workout and more. I like to switch up my pre-workout experience consistently, but I keep coming back to the Prophecy as it's so complete and offers me everything I look for in a pre-workout supplement.
With a couple more flavour options this could easily be an 10/10!
I don't want to write a bio for myself, so instead I'll leave you with an appropriate quote...
