
Recipe: Perfect Sports Diesel Chocolate Wafer Crisp Oat Biscotti
Top Chef Canada contestant and Perfect Sports athlete, Wallace Wong (Instagram: @w2sixpackchef), has created a high-protein oat biscotti recipe that takes advantage of the delectable new Diesel New Zealand whey protein isolate flavour, Chocolate Wafer Crisp.
This delicious recipe provides a unique and practical way to increase your protein intake during the day.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup oat flour
- 1 scoop of Perfect Sports Diesel Chocolate Wafer Crisp
- ½ tbsp sugar-free syrup
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a bowl, mix together oat flour, Perfect Sports Diesel protein powder and baking soda
- Add in syrup, egg and vanilla extract
- Mix until a dough forms, fold in chocolate chips
- Form into a log and place on the baking tray
- Bake for 15 minutes to set the dough
- Remove and let cool before cutting it into 12 biscotti
- Place the biscotti face down, lower the oven temperature to 300°F and bake for 5-8 minutes, flipping and baking for another 5-8 minutes until golden brown
- Remove and let cool then serve
