Top Chef Canada contestant and Perfect Sports athlete, Wallace Wong (Instagram: @w2sixpackchef), has created a high-protein oat biscotti recipe that takes advantage of the delectable new Diesel New Zealand whey protein isolate flavour, Chocolate Wafer Crisp.

This delicious recipe provides a unique and practical way to increase your protein intake during the day.



  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a bowl, mix together oat flour, Perfect Sports Diesel protein powder and baking soda
  • Add in syrup, egg and vanilla extract
  • Mix until a dough forms, fold in chocolate chips
  • Form into a log and place on the baking tray
  • Bake for 15 minutes to set the dough
  • Remove and let cool before cutting it into 12 biscotti
  • Place the biscotti face down, lower the oven temperature to 300°F and bake for 5-8 minutes, flipping and baking for another 5-8 minutes until golden brown
  • Remove and let cool then serve
